Interview With Annie Nickerson, Owner of Supporting Business: UPNORTH GETAWAY, a Maine Vacation Rental

Patten ATV Club: Where is UPNORTH GETAWAY located?

Annie Nickerson: 40 Clark Road in Patten, Maine. It's located approximately two miles from in-town Patten, which has a grocery store, agency liquor store, hardware store and much more. You can reach several trails right from the property.

Patten ATV Club: What goods and services does your business provide? What makes your business special? Do you offer anything specific to ATV riders?

Annie Nickerson: UPNORTH GETAWAY is a beautiful, well maintained Maine vacation rental home with a well-lit entry that has a ramp for step-free, easy access. It has four spacious bedrooms with five beds, three full bathrooms, all on one floor. The home is fully furnished with a washer and dryer, cable TV, WiFi, an outdoor fire pit, and it's pet friendly. There's plenty of outdoor space for kids and dogs to run and play.

For ATV riders, there's lots of parking for your trailers. The property has direct access to snowmobile and ATV trails. It's the gateway to the best trails in Maine! Baxter State Park and five pristine lakes are a short distance away.

Patten ATV Club: What is one thing you would recommend an ATV rider see/do/visit while in our area?

Annie Nickerson: I would recommend a ride to see the windmills and enjoy nature. It's a beautiful two to three-hour ride one-way from the property. We recently did it in about five hours round-trip with fourteen wheelers and thirty-one people.

Patten ATV Club secretary Laura Mae Brackett took part in the ride and had this to say:

"What a great weekend to open the trails! The weather conditions were perfect. With the recent rainfall, the dust wasn't too bad at all and the mud was fun! Our convoy of fourteen SXS decided to venture over to Oakfield to check out the windmills. Patten ATV trails connect to other local club trails which leads to miles of riding and multiple destinations to choose from."

Patten ATV Club: How can someone find out more?

Annie Nickerson: They'll find our listing on Airbnb at: https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/53781043?

Patten ATV Club: It's been our pleasure to feature UPNORTH GETAWAY. We appreciate our supporting business members and all you do for the club!
