Interview With Robert and Marie Robinson, Owners of Supporting Business: Crystal Brook Camping
Patten ATV Club: Where is Crystal Brook Camping located?
The Robinsons: 622 North Road Mount Chase, Maine, about four miles North of Patten.
We're minutes away from the Katahdin Woods and Waters National Park and close to Baxter State Park and the Penobscot River Trails.
Patten ATV Club: What goods and services does your business provide? What makes your business special? Do you offer anything specific to ATV riders?
The Robinsons: We offer the chance to escape and enjoy peace and quiet when you stay at our short-term, rustic, spacious campground under the stars. You can pitch a tent or bring your RV or motorhome to our secluded campsites. Currently, we have four drive-to improved sites that are crowned for drainage, picnic tables, fire rings and firewood. Currently, only one has a portable toilet. There are three walk-in sites along the brook being constructed and two other drive-up sites that are not crowned, etc. at this time.
Patten ATV Club: What is one thing you would recommend an ATV rider see/do/visit while in our area?
The Robinsons: : I would recommend a visit to Baxter State Park, Shin Brook Falls, Sebois River Trail, Hastings Falls and Penobscot River Trails.
Patten ATV Club: Do you offer any promotions/specials/discounts to Patten ATV Club Members? If so, and a club member presented their membership card, what would they be entitled to at your business?
